Two Thomasville City Scholars Academy students are regional winners in the Georgia Council of Teachers of English Young Georgia Authors writing competition. Both were selected from among all other students in their respective grades to represent the school system at the Southwest Regional Education Service Agency level. Eleventh grader Emily Dukes's piece, entitiled "Dad and Me," and ninth grader Rosalie Millere's piece, entitled "A Blood Cell's Journey," will advance to the state level of the competition.
