🗳️ Learning About Voting in Mrs. Mitchell and Ms. Stewart’s Pre-K Class! 🗳️
Yesterday, our Pre-K students at Jerger Elementary got a sweet introduction to voting! Mrs. Mitchell and Ms. Stewart’s class cast their ballots in a fun vote between Oreos and Chocolate Chip cookies. And the winner? Oreos! 🍪🎉
What a great way to teach the importance of making choices and the voting process. Way to go, future voters!

First up is James Oglethorpe and his contributions he made to Georgia. Curipod helps students to stay actively engaged in learning and encourages creativity and critical thinking skills. 🤓

Fall Break begins next week!🍂🍁
There will be no school beginning next Monday, Oct 7 thru Friday, Oct 11th. Oct 14th is a student holiday/teacher workday. Have a safe and happy fall break!

Thomasville City Schools will reopen Monday, September 30th on a normal schedule.
The school system extends thanks to the City of Thomasville Public Works and utilities crews who have worked tirelessly to clear out streets and restore power to make it possible for us to reopen our schools.
