
Mrs. D. Jones's 6th grade Career Awareness students and Mrs. Futch's 6th grade College Prep students participated in a Taste of Thomasville Food Tour. They learned how bagels are made at Empire Bagel, participated Quail Scavenger Hunt, and ate pizza at AJ Moonspin . Students concluded the tour at The Bookshelf with a delicious chocolate chip cookie.

Last week, the MacIntyre Park Middle School Concert band traveled to Cairo High School to perform at the GMEA District 2 Large Group Performance Evaluation. The students gave an outstanding performance and received all Superior ratings in both Concert Performance and Sightreading - these are the highest achievable ratings an ensemble can get. Bravo young musicians!

As a culminating activity for Black History Month, 7th and 8th graders got the chance to go see FAMU's Theatre Department perform "The Wiz" today! A great time was had by all! A great big THANK YOU goes out to our local AKA's, who funded this outing for us!
