-Just a reminder, today is an “C” day. Please be prepared to go to all your classes.
-If you park in the stadium parking lot today, please try to find a parking spot that already has a painted number. The art class will be finishing up the numbers if the weather permits.
-There will be a FBLA Interest Meeting on Wednesday, September 30 at 3:15 in Mrs. Bennett’s computer lab in the Annex Building.
-Anyone interested in a Photo Essay Competition, please look on the Scholars Academy school website for information. The competition opens October 2 and the deadline is December 4.
-HS students, a representative will be in the THS cafeteria during lunch on October 7th to take letterman jacket orders. You must have a $60 deposit to place an order.
-High School Yearbook picture make up day is next thursday, October 1.
-The next HOSA meeting will be this coming Monday at 3:15 in Mrs. Peralta’s room at the High School.
-There will be a High School FCCLA interest meeting on October 7th at 7:20 AM in Mrs. Prothro's room in the tech building at the high school. If you like working with children, helping with community service and competing in competitions, this is for you! Breakfast will be served.
-There will be a high school girl’s basketball interest meeting on October 5th at the MPMS gym and one on October 7th at the THS new gym. Information on conditioning will be given out during those meetings. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Taylor or Coach Cooper.
Today’s sports announcements are as follows:
-Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team for beating both Cook County and Brooks County last night to go undefeated in Area play. They will host the Area Tournament on Saturday October, 17.
-Cross Country will compete in Tifton tomorrow morning at 8:00.
-Varsity football will play in Bainbridge tonight. Tickets can be purchased at the gate as first come first serve or online at GoFan.com
