-The Wiregrass Gallery downtown is having an exhibit of one of our student's works on Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Please stop by and show support for Jessica Jones on Saturday.

-This week is Red Ribbon Week. As we learn about drug prevention, we are encouraging students to dress up each day! Today is pink day, tomorrow is red & gold day.

-The National Honor Society is sponsoring a Coat Drive for the Food Bank. Please donate any clean, gently-worn coats to the boxes near the front office on both campuses. 

-There will be a Builders Club interest meeting today at 3:15 in Mrs. Bennett’s computer lab.  Any middle school student interested in helping out the Kiwanis Club and the community should plan to attend.

-The PBIS Committee would like to announce that tomorrow, you can come to school dressed up as your favorite character for Character Day. In order to participate, you will need to pay $1 to your 2nd period teacher. Remember to check the handbook on page 32 for the Dress Code because it will still apply.

- Girl’s soccer will hold an interest meeting today in the auditorium. If you are a 6th-12th grade girl interested in trying out for soccer please plan to attend immediately after school. Information on conditioning, tryouts, and the season schedule will be provided. 

-HS Picture Make Up day will be Thursday, November 12th in the THS gym from 8:30-11:30 and in the SA multipurpose room from 12:30-3. 

-Driver's Education Classes will be offered at Southern Regional Technical College on November 7th, 14th, and 21st from 8 AM to 6:30 PM. The cost is $350. 

-Tomorrow, the Varsity football team will play at home against Cook County. Tickets will go on sale today and Friday at the Dog Pen  and online at GoFan.com. Student tickets will be $5 and the student section will be back on the home side. Please wear pink in support of breast cancer research.
