-Today, at 9:30 we will be having a virtual severe weather drill. 

-Today is Wellness Wednesday, and Live Better is introducing the superfood of the month – sweet potatoes! Sweet potatoes are known for their bright colors and are a great source of healthy nutrients like Vitamin B6 and C! Fun fact – sweet potatoes are also called yams! There are a variety of ways to eat sweet potatoes, so ask your parents to check out the Live Better website for some yummy recipes and try making them together as a family!

-The National Honor Society is sponsoring a Coat Drive for the Food Bank. Please donate any clean, gently-worn coats to the grey totes near the front office.

-Just a reminder that this Friday is an early release day for students. School will end at noon on Friday, November 6. 

-After school tutoring is available for all subjects. Please contact Mr. Smith at Scholars Academy or Ms. Piazza at THS. 

-This Saturday is the first round of Drivers Education Classes at SRTC. For more information, please go to the Southern Regional Technical College website and search “drivers education”. 

-There will be an FCA meeting tomorrow before school at 7:30 am in the multipurpose room. Anyone is welcome to attend. 

-Any middle school or high school boy interested in playing soccer next spring must attend an informational meeting tomorrow immediately after school in the multipurpose room. 

-Girl’s soccer conditioning will continue today and tomorrow from 3:30-4:30 on the THS track. Please see Mrs. Fitzgerald if you have any questions. 

-Tomorrow, the JV football team will play at Central High School at 5:00, and the varsity swim team will have a practice meet from 4-6 at the Butler Mason YMCA.

-Friday night, the varsity football team will play at home against Fitzgerald. Tickets will be on sale at the Dog Pen from 11-4 on Thursday and Friday. You can also purchase tickets online at GoFan.com. High school student tickets are $5, and general admission is $8. All remaining tickets will be sold at the gate. The student section will be on the home side this week. Come out and support the bulldogs during the last home game in the regular season.
