-Today is our early release day for students. We will dismiss everyone at 11:45. Buses will run, as usual, so please release bus riders at 11:35.
-Today is our ugly/tacky holiday sweater day. Thank you to all the students and staff that participated.
-Juniors and Seniors, Saturday there will be a virtual college tour of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a College Admission Process workshop. For more information, please see the flier on the Scholars Academy website.
-the THS Literary Team Interest Meeting will be Monday, December 14th at 3:15 in Ms. Ramsey’s room. Please come if you would like to know more about the four areas of competition that are involved with our Literary Team or if you are interested in competing with us this year.
-There will be a short Builder’s Club and Key Club meeting next Monday after school in the multipurpose room. Please remember to bring your Toys for Tots and cans for the food drive.
-Middle School baseball tryouts are next week from 3:45-5:45. 6th grade will be on Monday, 7th Grade is on Tuesday, 8th Grade on Wednesday, and all middle school grades on Thursday. A current physical must be turned in to the school nurse before tryouts. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Kelly McDougald.
-There will be an FBLA meeting next Wednesday, December 16 after school in Mrs. Bennett’s computer lab. The meeting will begin right at 3:15, and Mr. Huggans from TNB will be the guest speaker.
-JROTC will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots and unwrapped stocking stuffers for Stocking for Seniors. The barrel is in the lobby until Dec 18th. Please help us make someone’s holiday a little brighter.
-Yearbooks are currently on sale for preorder for $65. This offer ends on December 18th. Seniors' ads are also on sale. $185 for a full-page & $95 for a half-page. All seniors need to check their emails and fill out the Google form for their senior quote and ad. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Richardson.
-Attention Seniors, Jostens will be here to take Announcement, Cap & Gown, and Class Ring orders on Tuesday, December 15th during lunch in the Multipurpose Room. Please bring a $100 down payment and a completed order form to place your order. If you have already placed an order, you may make a payment on the 15th as well.
-Juniors and Seniors, Your class rings will be delivered on Tuesday, December 15th during lunch in the Multipurpose Room. Any final payments may be made with credit/debit online or by calling the Jostens office. You may pay at delivery with exact cash or money order only. No checks will be accepted.
-Girl's soccer tryouts for middle and high school will begin on January 11th. A current physical must be turned in to the nurse before tryouts. Girl's soccer conditioning will continue until Winter Break on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 3:30 on the THS track.

-Saturday at 1:00 will be a middle school swim meet at Butler Mason YMCA.
-Today, the Bulldogs will be traveling to LaGrange Ga to play in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs. We will call for the SSA at 11:00 this morning. Good luck Dogs!
-Tickets for Friday’s football game are on sale today from 9:00-12:00 at the THS Bullpen. Tickets are $12.00 each, and can also be purchased online at GoFan.com
