-Students that are signed up to take the ACT next Tuesday, March 2, please check your email for the location of your test. Please be at your testing location no later than 7:50 am on Tuesday.
-8th Grade Beta Club Members: Please check your email and vote for officers. This must be done by Thursday afternoon.
-the FBLA club is selling Boston butts, hams, ribs, and sausage from Johnston’s Meat Market for $30. If you would like to support FBLA by purchasing an item see Mrs. Taylor at THS or an FBLA student member.
-Remember that after-school tutoring is offered at both Scholars Academy and THS. Mr. Smith at the SA will have English tutoring after school on Tuesdays at 3:30, and Math tutoring is on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-5:00. You do not have to sign up ahead of time to come to tutoring.
-A reminder that tomorrow is a student holiday. Students will not come to school on Friday.
-Any 8th-grade student that is considering playing football next year for the high school, please come to the MPMS gymnasium this Thursday at 1:20 (at the beginning of 6th period) for a meeting with Coach Grage.
-Today, the MS Gold baseball team will play in Pelham at 5:00, the tennis team will have a match in Adel at 4:00, and the MS soccer teams will have two games at home at 4:30 & 6:00.
-Tomorrow, the HS soccer team will play at home against Fitzgerald at 5:30 & 7:30 and the varsity baseball team will play at home against Cairo at 5:30.
-Congratulations to the varsity basketball team on their win in the first round of the playoffs yesterday. The final score was 71-56. The boys will advance to the next round this Saturday at home. The time is to be determined soon.
