-The Annual Sadie Hawkins Dance for MPMS & SA students is Saturday, November 13th from 7-9:30. No outside guests will be allowed in. Tickets will be pre-sold before school in Mrs. Rainey’s room for $7 and sold the night of the dance for $10. Food and drink donations are still needed. Please drop them off in Mrs. Bennett’s Computer Lab. Make plans to join us for a fun night of games, music, dancing, and more!

-High schoolers interested in traveling the world, you need to attend the Galapagos Island trip next summer. There will be a virtual meeting for your parents today at 6:30pm. Go see or email Mr. Peterson for more information on this once in a lifetime trip. 

-Mrs. Knop's 5th period Peer Leadership class is doing a fundraiser to raise  money to adopt a family for Christmas. Your 2nd period teacher will have a collection bag as well as there will be students from the class at all 3 lunches. If high school students would like to donate during lunch they can do so in the cafeteria. Otherwise they can make donations in the 2nd period.

We need everyone's help to make this a Christmas some children will never forget. 

-the THS band is selling citrus fruit to raise money for their organization. Today is the last day to place an order. If you are interested in purchasing, please contact Mr. Swan or a band member. 

-High School Picture Makeup Day has been rescheduled for after Thanksgiving Break on Wednesday, December 1st. Seniors will report to the THS gymnasium at 8:00am for retakes, and the underclassmen will take pictures on both SA & THS campuses. 

-All current 8th graders who were inducted into Beta Club last year. There will be a Beta Club meeting on Wednesday in Mrs. Bennett's computer lab. You will receive your certificate and pin, vote on new officers, and hear about our community service project for the holidays. Please make plans to attend 3:15-4:00

-There will be a FBLA meeting tomorrow Wednesday, November 10th at 3:15 in the computer lab with Mrs. Bennett. If you are not able to attend the meeting you need to see Mrs. Bennett about the region competition.

Reminder to bring in toys for "Toys for Tots" and canned goods for the food drive.

-MS Baseball tryouts will be in December. You must have a physical on file with the school nurse to participate. Please contact Coach Kelly McDougald at MPMS Room 140 for more information or see the flier on the cafeteria door. 

-MS Boys & Girls soccer tryouts will be held November 16 & 17th on the practice field behind the MS Cafeteria. You must have a physical on file with the nurse to participate. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Sims or Mr. Peterson. 

-Girls Soccer conditioning will be every Mon., Tues., & Thurs from 3:15-4:30 at the THS Track. Please bring both tennis shoes and cleats as well as your own water.

-Friday night our Thomasville Bulldogs will begin the GHSA Football playoffs against the Washington County Golden Hawks. Kickoff is set for 8:00 PM. Tickets are on sale all week in the THS Dog Pen from 9 AM - 2 PM. Regular season reserved seat ticket holders have until Tuesday afternoon to claim their tickets. Beginning Wednesday morning all unclaimed reserved tickets will be open to the public. Reserved seats are $12. General Admission tickets are $8, and can be purchased in the Dog Pen or through Go Fan
