-High School Picture Makeup Day will be tomorrow Wednesday, December 1. Seniors will report to the THS gymnasium at 8:00. All underclassmen will take pictures at both the SA and THS campus.
-Jostens will be on campus today during lunch to talk to Seniors.
-Attention all 8th and 9th grade Science Academy members! There will be a VERY important meeting after school Thursday if you cannot come you must get this information from Ms Rinehart. The trip is next week and information must be given to your parents. There will also be a Parent Informational meeting Thursday at 6pm in the Bulldog Cafe for all 8/9 th Science Academy parents. All payments and forms and doors signs are past due.
-Builders Club will meet on Friday, December 3rd right after school in the computer lab with Mrs. Bennett. The meeting will be over at 3:30.
-There is a National Honor Society Meeting next Thursday, December 9th at 7:00 am in the Auditorium. If you are a member of the NHS, this meeting is REQUIRED! Please be on time!
-the THS Book Club will meet this Friday after school in Mrs. Strausser’s classroom from 3:00-4:00.
-The THS Book Club will be sponsoring a book drive from Nov. 15- Dec. 17 in connection with the Thomas County Library. Please donate gently-used books for all ages that you have around the house to Ms. Strausser in her classroom at SA. The book club is having a meeting this Friday from 3-4 in Mrs. Strausser's classroom.
-Mrs. Knop's 5th period Peer Leadership class is doing a fundraiser to raise money to adopt a family for Christmas. Your 2nd period teacher will have a collection bag and there will be students from the class at all 3 lunches. If high school students would like to donate during lunch they can do so in the cafeteria. Otherwise they can make donations in the 2nd period. We need everyone's help to make this a Christmas some children will never forget.
-MS Baseball tryouts will begin next week. Each grade will have a different day of tryouts. You must have a physical on file with the school nurse to participate. Please contact Coach Kelly McDougald at MPMS Room 140 for more information or see the flier on the cafeteria door.
-Girls HS Soccer Conditioning will be on the practice field Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of this week from 3:30-4:30. Girls MS Soccer Practice will also be on the Practice field from 3:30-5:00.
-7th & 8th grade boys basketball players need to meet today in Room 208 at MPMS right after school.
-Tomorrow, the 8th grade basketball teams will play Thomas County Middle School at home at 4:30.
-Friday night we will host the Semi-finals here at home against Callaway. Kick off will be at 8:00. No tickets will be sold at the schools; they will be sold only online at gofan.com
