-Attention all 8th and 9th grade Science Academy members! There will be a VERY important meeting after school today if you cannot come you must get this information from Ms Rinehart. The trip is next week and information must be given to your parents. There will also be a Parent Informational meeting today at 6pm in the Bulldog Cafe for all 8/9 th Science Academy parents.
-Builders Club will meet tomorrow right after school in the computer lab with Mrs. Bennett. The meeting will be over at 3:30.
-There is a National Honor Society Meeting next Thursday, December 9th at 7:00 am in the Auditorium. If you are a member of the NHS, this meeting is REQUIRED! Please be on time!
-The THS Book Club will be sponsoring a book drive from Nov. 15- Dec. 17 in connection with the Thomas County Library. Please donate gently-used books for all ages that you have around the house to Ms. Strausser in her classroom at SA. The book club is having a meeting tomorrow from 3-4 in Mrs. Strausser's classroom.
-HS Yearbook Senior Ads are on sale until December 6. A full page ad is $185, a half page ad is $95. You can order online at jostens.com. Contact Mrs. Strausser via email if you have any questions.

-All middle school students interested in Track and Field should attend an interest meeting on Wednesday, December 8th @ 3:15 PM in the Scholar’s Academy Multi-Purpose Room. Interested, but playing another sport? Information on how to participate in more than one middle school sport will be discussed at the meeting. That’s Wednesday December 8th @3:15PM in the Scholars Academy Multi-Purpose room.
-MS Baseball tryouts will begin next week. Each grade will have a different day of tryouts. You must have a physical on file with the school nurse to participate. Please contact Coach Kelly McDougald at MPMS Room 140 for more information or see the flier on the cafeteria door.
-Girls HS Soccer Conditioning will be on the practice field Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of this week from 3:30-4:30. Girls MS Soccer Practice will also be on the Practice field from 3:30-5:00.
-Today, the 8th grade basketball teams will play Thomas County Middle School at home at 4:30.
-The 8th Grade basketball team will play in Worth County today at 4:30.
-Friday night we will host the Semi-finals here at home against Callaway. Kick off will be at 8:00. No tickets will be sold at the schools; they will be sold only online at gofan.com for $15 each.
