Friday we put on a Veterans Day program for Southern Pines, then we went and did a flag folding at the Veterans Day event at the courthouse. Sunday morning, we presented the flags for 1st Missionary Baptist Church's annual Veterans Day celebration.
Don't forget tomorrow morning at THS we will be having our Parent Appreciation Day. Come enjoy some light refreshments, Meet Mr. Daniels, & get your child's progress report. We will have people on hand to help you sign up for inifinite campus as well. Also, when you come your name will be entered into three drawings: Two Jonah's Gift Cards & four Wild Adventures Tickets are the door prizes!
Parents you should have received an Opt-Out letter for Military and Higher Education. This form needs to be returned by 11/21/23 to get your student's name off the list that will be submitted to the requesting recruiters. The form can be found on schools webpage under explore: Opt-Out Letter is the name of the form and it is attached here.

Congratulations to London Young for being chosen as the CTAE Student of the Month for welding.
The students in Early Childhood Education are identifying types and characteristics of abuse and neglect. The students are reading three scenarios to identify which type abuse it is, then they came together to share out their reasonings, concerns and insight about each scenario. The dialogue in each group was amazing!
