Friday, November 11th, Thomasville High School Air Force JROTC partnered with Thomas County Central Army JROTC at the Thomasville/Thomas County Veterans Day Ceremony. Central did a fantastic job presenting the colors and we performed a beautiful flag folding ceremony. Cadets got to meet some of our local veteran heroes, and even assisted them in their wheelchairs, getting in and out of their vans. Also, a special shout out to Cross Creek Elementary School for bringing a group of students who made signs for veterans. What a wonderful show of appreciation for our veterans!

Tuesday, November 8th, a group of cadets went to Second Harvest to pack boxes to feed the hungry in our community.

THS Spirit Committee is proud to honor 6 members of our staff that have bravely served in our country’s Armed Forces. They were presented with individual plaques commemorating their years of service & treated to a yummy homemade breakfast. It is our honor to recognize these courageous men and women.
