📢 Anatomy & Physiology Gets Gruesome! 🩸🩹 To wrap up the Integumentary Unit, Mrs. Russo’s Anatomy & Physiology students got hands-on (and messy!) by creating realistic fake wounds! Using Vaseline, tissue, fake blood, food dye, and cocoa powder, they crafted some truly gruesome injuries while reinforcing their understanding of skin layers and wound healing. Who knew learning about the skin could be this eerie and exciting?

The county-wide curfew has been extended until 8:00 AM Thursday. Icy road conditions continue to pose a safety concern, making travel unsafe for buses, staff, students, and parents. Additionally, our HB581 hearing scheduled for January 23 will be rescheduled. The hearing on February 3 will proceed as planned. ✨RESCHEDULED✨ The Thomasville City School’s Transition Fair is a free event for families of students with disabilities. It will provide valuable information on preparing for the future after high school. The transition from school to work or to secondary education is often difficult. Representatives from useful agencies will be available to speak with you on matters related to education and advocacy, medical and legal issues, counseling and care, vocational rehab and employment services, and more. The key to success is planning! Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled for February 20, 2025, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Thomasville High School Cafeteria.
