
The AP Psychology class has a "hippo on campus"! Students can sign it out for the day and take pictures of it/with it to send to Mrs. Ariail. The hippocampus is a part of the brain that acts as a loading dock for memories, so they are creating memories with the hippo...on our campus! Pictures will be posted on the Scholars AP Psychology Instagram.


Students in Mr. Gammel's Construction class designed their own pickleball paddles, then went to the courts to try them out. Fun day!

MPMS Band had a wonderful Holiday Concert this Tuesday. Thank you to all who helped in its' production and those who attended showing support!


Mrs. King's Spanish students learn about traditional clothing in Bolivia. They traced each other to create poster people, describing who they are and what they are wearing in Spanish.

Congratulations to the winners of MacIntyre Park Middle School's Spelling Bee! Champion, Brady McKenna, and Runner-up, Jackson Carson. They will both be competing in the District Spelling Bee in January.


Congratulations to Thomasville High School’s STAR student for the '22-'23 school year, Henry McDonald. STAR is awarded to the Senior with the highest SAT one-time score. Henry chose Mrs. Stowers as his STAR teacher and is the 14th student to give her the title. Amazing job, Henry and thank you, Mrs. Stowers!

Brooks Woodward, 2010 Scholars Academy graduate, joins Mrs. Rainey's 8th Grade students to share his story as an entrepreneur in Georgia. Brooks is the owner of Nichols Lures based here in Thomasville, GA.

Our Mathletes competed in the VSU Tournament. Tim Cordista, Colin Szwarc, Simon Harper and Ella Williams represented our Varsity Team. Colin Szwarc won 5th Place in that division! The JV Team won 3rd Place: Matthew Cannon, Matthew Mullins, Dhruket Patel, and Laramie Stokes. Great job, Bulldogs!



7th Grade Science Academy draws whales to correct proportions to get a real life view of their size!




Latin Club had a great time competing with Colquitt County's Latin Program at Minicon. About thirty kids competed academically and, of course, with pool noodles!


Students in Honors Anatomy measured and analyzed partial skeletons to determine their sex, race, height, and age.



Mrs. Nelson’s Honors Algebra 2 made and played games to review over Exponential and Logarithmic Functions!



Dr. Hernandez and the High School Orchestra traveled to Valdosta last Friday (Veteran's Day) to perform for our US Veterans at the VA Clinic.
