Mrs. Belinda Johnson, MPMS teacher, brought her certified service dogs, Mary Grace and Daisy to school. 🐕🦺The dogs enjoyed students reading Christmas books to them. 🎄They also enjoyed the treats and belly rubs!🦴 It seems like the kids enjoyed it too!❤️

We’re thrilled to announce that Rose Lehman, a senior at the Scholars Academy of Thomasville High School, has been named the 2024 PAGE STAR Student, and her math teacher, Elaina Johnson, has been honored as STAR Teacher for her dedication and outstanding guidance.
The PAGE STAR (Student Teacher Achievement Recognition) program, presented by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE), celebrates academic excellence among high school seniors across Georgia. To earn this honor, Rose met rigorous criteria, including earning the highest SAT score at her school on a single test date through November of her senior year, while also ranking among the top 10 percent of her class based on grade point average.
Mrs. Johnson, who teaches courses including Geometry, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics, was nominated for her exceptional teaching, ability to inspire students, and unwavering dedication to academic success. Her mentorship has played a key role in Rose’s remarkable achievements.

Students are asked to bring $1 each day for incentives.
Once a student has brought $5, they may receive a LandSTRONG sticker.
Once a student has brought $10, they may earn 1 hour of community service. (Limit 1 hour)
